This piece, I believe, says a lot more than what it's written. From what it seems, it's a posted contradiction (or is it irony?) of its original statement which gives it a nice flip in meaning. Reminds me of some equivalent statement "kill all those who think violence resolves anything" (not an actual quote that I know of, but something similar to an actual quote).
This piece really reminds me of the piece that we read yesterday-Mown Lawn. It has a similar style of playing with the words. It very thoughtfully written and makes sense at the same time.
Although this piece is short, it is saying alot. I really like the use of the words because the sound of the poem is kind of playful but the meaning of the poem is powerful. I like the idea of always and never, and as William said it is sort of a contradiction which gives you something to think about. I really enjoyed reading this poem, and as I said before, it really made me think about these two words as larger ideas.
