This is a piece that I think could be a scene in any young man's life currently. I think you have a lot to work with, but the writing style takes away from the strength of the piece. I guess you wanted tihs to have an authentic fell, but your ideas tend to become second to the style and it becomes distracting. I think this would make a great short story, because I'd love to know more about the characters and what occurs.
I think that the idea that this piece is written in text messages is very creative. It uses lots of modern language and really captures the essence of two people texting each other having a conversation, in other words,it doesn't seem forced.
